THE                            PAGE

The Rainbow was designed in 1940 by R J Hill in Western Australia. It spread to all the southern states and by the 1960's was the most numerous class in Tasmania and South Australia.
It was a popular class in Victoria in the 1960's and 70's although it is rarely seen these days.
We have two excellent examples of a Rainbow sailing in our classic dinghy events (see photos on right) and they will be joined by four more soon.
